Playing fiddle, keyboards, whistles, concertina,
accordion & guitars has taken Judy to a variety of venues both nationally
(Easter People conference 2000, venues in Bristol & London) and
internationally (folk festivals in Germany & France). Her musical
experience includes gigging with Bristol based hip-hop band "Tribeca",
performing with various Folk Bands & playing solo Jazz on both violin and
keyboards. Worsening health problems over recent years have
restricted Judy's physical ability to tour or perform live, but she continues
to pour her heart and soul into recorded music that is both inspiring and unique.
Judy's albums, have
attracted both national and international interest, being played on internet, national
and local radio stations. The songs have touched a chord with people of all
walks of life - her songs are popular downloads from iTunes and customers around the world enjoy her CDs. Judy's music draws inspiration from many sources. She combines acoustic folk instruments with
electronic sounds that draw you gently into a place of beauty and hope.
In her album "Worship: Seeking the heart of the Father", Judy has ventured into the world of Christian Worship
material. Drawing on her own unique sound, these are more than songs, they are
a Celtic worship experience. Music to inspire and
uplift, music to relax and uphold, music to draw you in to the very heart of
the Father.
In addition to her worship album, why not explore more compositions from Judy including: samples of her score for the film
show-reel "Tribe of One" for Petite Mort Film
Productions (Bristol), and her three albums of original Celtic songs: "SHADES of
LIGHT", "Beyond" and most recently released "When Darkness Falls". |
